Can Paid Hosting Actually Help a Website Grow Faster? Would Love Your Thoughts!

Hey everyone,
I’ve been wondering about something lately and thought this would be the best place to ask — does investing in paid hosting really make a noticeable difference in website growth?
I’m not just talking about speed, but the overall growth — like better SEO performance, lower bounce rates, improved user experience, etc.
I recently shifted from free hosting to a paid plan (not a premium one yet), and while I feel like my site’s loading faster and running smoother, I’m curious if that alone can help with things like traffic and rankings over time.
So here’s what I’d love to hear from you all:
• If you switched from free/cheap to paid hosting, did you notice a boost in your site’s growth?
• Which factors (speed, uptime, security, support) made the most impact?
• Is it worth going for a premium host early on, or better to scale gradually?
Looking forward to your stories and advice. Thanks in advance!
